We are looking for a Construction Field Engineer

Wage Range: $60K - $80K DOE

The Field Engineer's position establishes the fundamental principles for an individual's growth and success within Agate Construction. On a daily basis you will be responsible for the coordination between Agate employees, owners, subcontractors, architects and engineers relative to the Project Controls. This position is the initial step in developing managerial and communication skills.

Duties / Responsibilities:

Monitor / document job-site safety and accident prevention
Construction scheduling
Procurement and expediting of material and equipment
Shop drawing / submittal review and coordination
Participation in / documentation of project coordination meetings
Assist in supervision / coordination of subcontractors' field installations
Research and suggest options on construction means, methods and equipment
Maintenance of As-Built plans
Quality control and project closeout

Required Skills / Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree
Construction internship or other related construction work experience preferred
General knowledge of construction principles/practices required
Ability to move or travel throughout the Southwest region as needed
Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
