Job Description

Rogers Group is the largest privately held crushed stone producer in the U.S. and a major road building contractor. We are searching for a person to lead all business lines in Western Kentucky. We operate limestone mines (surface and underground), asphalt plants and road construction crews (primarily asphalt paving and stone). In addition, we have a specialty products business (pulverized limestone) and self-perform our own drilling.

**Total Compensation Package is $200,000 - $400,000 (depending on experience)

Qualifications:

Industry experience in aggregate mining and/or road construction.
A leader who knows to put safety first, and by putting safety first, knows quality, profitability and business success will follow.
Proven leader who has managed interrelated businesses and has a track record of profitable growth.
A leader who knows what drives the aggregate mining and road construction business and will focus on strategic growth in the Western Kentucky market area.
Track record of building strong relationships with state DOT officials and sub-contractors.
Degree in mining engineering, civil engineering, construction management or other related degree program. Graduate degree may be helpful but not required.
At least 5-10 years of P&L experience running a business in the mining, road construction or construction products industry.
This is a significant opportunity for the right candidate with a career track that can lead to Vice President, Division Vice President, Chief Operating Officer or more.

Note: This position could start as a Vice President level position if the candidate has extensive experience in both major lines of business (mining and road construction) and a proven track record of successfully leading a similar business within our industry.
