We are seeking an Office Intern that will work closely with our team and support various administrative tasks to contribute to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with document control, including filing, scanning, and organizing construction-related documents
- Support project managers and engineers in tracking project progress, updating schedules, and maintaining project files
- Coordinate and track project submittals, requests for information (RFIs), and change orders
- Assist in bid preparation, including gathering and organizing project bid documents and creating bid packages
- Assist in managing construction drawings and specifications, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to the project team
- Assist with general office administrative tasks, such as data entry, managing phone calls, and coordinating office supplies
- Collaborate with various departments to provide administrative support as needed
- Embrace a learning mindset and actively seek opportunities to expand knowledge of construction processes and project management
Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a college or university, pursuing a degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with construction terminology and documentation is a plus, but not required
- Prior office or administrative experience is a plus, but not required
