About UsMC² is a professional consulting engineering firm specializing in the fields of Geotechnical Engineering, Geo-Environmental, Construction Materials Testing and Inspection and Pavement Design and Management with offices in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. Our clients include DOT's, municipalities, state agencies and large multi-national engineering firms. We are retained by our clients to provide innovative solutions to complex subsurface issues to support the design of heavy civil infrastructure projects in the Transportation, Water/Wastewater, Tunneling, Dams and Aviation sectors, as well as provide cost-effective solutions for structures, commercial developments, and educational institutions. Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Coordinator to join our team at our Tampa, Florida office.
Key Responsibilities/Requirements: - Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive growth and revenue
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients in the industry
- Maintain and cultivate our strong existing clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor innovative solutions that meet client needs
- Provide feedback to internal teams based on client interactions and market insights
- Stay apprised of industry trends and market conditions
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Monitor and report on business development activities
Qualifications:- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a consulting engineering environment
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or marketing or business with applicable verifiable experience in business development in the engineering environment can be considered
- Professional registrations are always a plus
- Able to prepare and deliver accurate proposals and presentations, is highly desirable
- Able to read civil constructions documents and construction schedules and provide cost estimates for our services, is highly desirable
