Job Duties: Provide Support to the Project Manager and Superintendent in the management and execution of assigned contracts through all phases of construction incuding planning/project startup, construction, and post construction/ project closeout.
Duties Include:
- Assisting with preparation of Pre-Activity and project startup meetings including Project Handoff Meeting with Estimating Department, Pre-Construction and meeting with unions.
- Distributing and maintaining Pjoect Plans, Specificatin, Standard Plans, Job Special Provisions, Phase Listing, Director Cost Repaorts, Plan Revision, etc.
- Building Daily and or Weekly Projects Schedules and distributing to all required parties.
- Asssting in initial development and montly update of CM-Schedule.
- Assisting Suerintendent and Foremaen with day-to-day tasks including material procurement, daily project scheduling, survey and layout.
- Coordinating with subcontractors, material suppliers, and vendors as needed to meet project schedule requirements.
- Coordinating with Owner / Owner's representative, Inspectors, QC/QA personnel, etc. to schedule testing and/or inspection of work.
- Coordinating with MW Operations Managers including Survey, Quality Control, Structures, Concrete, Transportatin, etc. as needed.
- Preparing and submitting RFI's and Submittals to owner or engineer of record.
- Assisting with project closeout / final completion tasks including punch-list, final plans, certs, final quantities / change orders, etc.
Job Requirements - Degree: MS, Civil Engineering with focus on Construction/ Engineering Management.
Skills: Completion of OSHA 10-Hour or 30 - Hour Construction Course. Strong proficiency using MS-Project, HCSS HeavyJob or HeavyBid, and Primavera P6
