We are currently seeking a
Business Development Leader to drive the sales process from prospecting, pre-positioning, onboarding, and maintaining long-term client relationships for commercial / industrial based civil engineering projects, as well as pavement / asset management programs on a national basis including specific opportunities within the Georgia region. This individual will actively participate with company stakeholders to develop and implement strategic goals. In addition, the individual will work closely with the technical and the business development teams to create tailored solutions that meet the market demands.
This ideal candidate will be a servant leader, well organized, self-motivated, articulate, and accountable, detail orientated, display effective interpersonal skills and be capable of developing solutions that best serve the client and GPD Group.

Role Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Civil Engineering or equivalent. IAM certificate preferred.
- Minimum of five years' experience working with or selling civil engineering, pavement / asset management-based programs.
- Ability to manage the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation through client on-boarding and development.
- Develop and manage positive and trusted professional relationships.
- Design experience in civil engineering, pavement design and / or asset management.
- Exceptional communication & presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities: - Developing results-driven client acquisition strategies. This includes developing a comprehensive plan for all activities including: marketing, sales, and proposal generation to support the growth strategies of GPD.
- Champion the expansion of our civil engineering services on a regional and national level. This includes building regional relationships with commercial / industrial clients as well as working with internal stakeholders to secure opportunities within our national multisite client base.
- Expand our national pavement management program. This includes having a deep understanding of the pavement lifecycle from inspection, design, remediation, and maintenance. Work with stakeholders to develop marketing campaigns, identify target accounts, create new business relationships.
- Participate in Developing our asset management program to include other asset classes. This includes classes such as roof, building envelope, HVAC, and lighting. Work with stakeholders to develop marketing campaigns, identify target accounts, create new business relationships.
