We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for the position of Estimator at Siema. We are looking for a detail-oriented and numbers-savvy individual who is passionate about contributing to the success of our projects from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the solicitation process and create RFQs for projects.
Perform project takeoffs and update the HeavyBid vendor database.
Participate in preconstruction meetings with the project team.
Prepare estimates for materials, equipment, and labor.
Solicit quotes from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Review project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work.
Provide value engineering options and ensure estimates are accurate.
Attend pre-bid meetings and jobsite visits.

What We're Looking For:

Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Viewpoint, P6, HeavyBid, and Trimble Business Center.
Relevant experience or qualifications in civil engineering, construction management, or estimating.
Proven experience in commercial concrete, site work, and heavy highway projects.
A valid driver's license and a clear driving record.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in commercial concrete, site work, and heavy highway projects.
