We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales/Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for bid preparation, project estimating, proposal creation, and maintaining positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Responsibilities:

Bid preparation and submission of bid documents
Project estimating and cost estimation
Proposal preparation and presentation
Procurement of records and budgeting of goods and services
Supplier performance rating and product inspection
Maintaining positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers
Scope analysis of potential subcontractors and suppliers
Finalizing job cost estimates and negotiating subcontractor bids
Establishing project schedules and tabulating bonds
Conducting sales presentations and keeping up with industry trends
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

High School Diploma;
Preferred: College Degree in Construction Science or Civil Engineering
Minimum 1 year of experience in the construction industry or degree in a related field;
5 years of industry experience preferred
Licensing: As required per state of performance
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Occasional vehicle and air travel required
