A DAY IN THE LIFE

Manages project engineering firms, junior engineering staff, serves as a proponent for project-level needs, performs calculations, reviews and issues plans and specifications to ensure the company achieves its strategic objectives.
Provides training and mentorship for project and technical personnel.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering, or related field required. Professional Engineer licensure is preferred, with an emphasis on construction, geotechnical, or structural engineering.
At a minimum, the candidate will hold an Engineer-in-Training certificate with potential to become a licensed Professional Engineer in 6 months preferred.
Four or more years of progressive engineering and engineering supervisory experience, in a related industry (i.e., heavy civil, industrial, utilities, power generation) required.

Field surveying experience.
